In a little more than a month, from August 10-12, students from
throughout the US and Canada will be meeting up in Detroit for the USAS
Summer Retreat. If you have never been to a USAS conference, this will
be a great time for you to get to meet other students working on the
same issues, develop the skills to become a better campus organizer, and
learn a little bit more about what USAS is all about. If you are a USAS
veteran, the retreat will be a good opportunity to help develop new
leaders, guide the organization, and, of course, hang out with all those
people that you only get to see twice a year.

So, if you are interested in developing better organizing skills,
learning more about how to force your university to respect workers'
rights, working to challenge systems of oppression on campus and in your
organizing, or just getting to meet a bunch of young people organizing
around similar issues, then register for the USAS Summer Retreat today!
Also, make sure to let people in your group, at your school, in your
home town, or anyone who you think might be interested know that they
can register for the retreat at
http://www.studentsagainstsweatshops.org/index.php?option=com_mosforms&Itemid=118

There will be a 30-100$ sliding fee for registration, food and housing
are provided and, for those who apply before July 10, there will be
travel scholarships available to help you make it out to Detroit.

Register today and we'll see you in Detroit!
