Dear Friend,

I just wrote a letter to the editor online with Rainforest
Action Network. Four RAN activists just scaled a crane outside
Bank of America's headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina and
dropped a banner announcing: "Bank of America: Funding Coal,
Killing Communities".

The local news media have been covering the story extensively so
this is a great chance to put pressure on Bank of America--one
of the leading funders of the coal industry--by writing a letter
to the editor opposing funding coal.

Coal is already the leading source of the greenhouse gasses that
cause global warming and mountaintop removal coal mining, which
Bank of America invests in heavily, is particularly destructive
and toxic.

I hope you will take just a couple of minutes to write your own
letter. It is very easy, RAN provides talking points and an
online form to use.
