Oh I got my box in September.  DTE is also giving out 5 free compact fluorescents and an energy kit full of other knickknacks to everyone who fills out their home energy analyzer on the DTE website.  If you do not already have one they might even install a digital meter so you can take advantage of off peak pricing, online reading of your meter and for future metering of your energy flowing back to the utility for lucky people with solar panels and windmills.  (However, initially I didn't like the digital meter because you can't see real time use of your energy like you can with the analog ones.  This is necessary if you want to search for phantom loads or make sure everything in the house is turned off and unplugged.  So maybe we can voice this concern to DTE and hopefully they will update the software.)

What you have to do is sign up to your profile online.  https://www.dteenergy.com/cso/myAccount/getDefaultAccount.do 

With this you can pay and receive your bills online and save a stamp and paper if you want to.  Right now I still get my bills through the mail but pay them online because I like hard copy records of things.  They also have an annual comparison on your profile of your last 3 years of bills.  

Once you sign in you can click on the Save Energy tab.  
Then over on the left column you click on MyEnergyAnalyzer then again on OpenMyEnergyAnalyzer.

You can either breeze through it quickly and answer a few questions or run around your house taking notes and measurements and reading appliance energy usages and do a detailed analysis of your entire home.  You'll get a comparison to how much energy you are using versus your neighbors and detailed suggestions on how to improve your home.  I've been updating my profile for a couple years now and use far below the energy of my neighbors.  It's very satisfying seeing the difference the insulation that you installed, or the maintenance you did on your water heater is making a significant difference.

And voila in a couple weeks you'll get the free box of goodies!
